Bosnian accordionist Almir Meskovic and Romanian-Serbian violinist Daniel Lazar met within the music scene of their adopted home, Norway. There, they developed a unique pan-Balkan repertoire enriched with original compositions and Scandinavian influences, which they perform as a duo with breathtaking virtuosity.
Both musicians bring more than 20 years of experience in both classical and traditional music. In a remarkable way, they combine their Balkan musical roots with styles and genres ranging from folk and contemporary classical music to jazz and Roma music.
Their artistic vision is to creatively unite the musical dynamics that these diverse traditions have developed over centuries.
