Dijle Yükselir ist eine international tätige türkische Sopranistin, deren künstlerisches Schaffen Oper, sinfonische Musik und die reichen musikalischen Traditionen Anatoliens mit außergewöhnlicher Tiefe und Ausdruckskraft verbindet. Mit ihrer warmen, zugleich kraftvollen und emotional berührenden Stimme erschafft sie musikalische Räume voller Poesie, Intensität und kultureller Resonanz. Ihre Interpretationen zeichnen sich durch eine seltene Verbindung aus technischer Präzision, emotionaler Authentizität und künstlerischer Sensibilität aus und hinterlassen beim Publikum eine nachhaltige emotionale Wirkung.
Bereits im Alter von sieben Jahren begann sie mit dem Klavierunterricht und erhielt später ihre Gesangsausbildung bei dem Tenor Mustafa Yurdakul an der Ankara Art Academy. Anschließend absolvierte sie das Operngesang-Studium am Staatlichen Konservatorium der Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in Istanbul unter der Leitung der renommierten Sopranistin Sema Cal Günsoy. Darüber hinaus erweiterte sie ihr künstlerisches Profil durch ein Studium im Bereich Sound Design und Post Production am George Brown College in Toronto.
Im Laufe ihrer internationalen Karriere wirkte Dijle Yükselir in zahlreichen Opernproduktionen, sinfonischen Konzertprojekten sowie interdisziplinären künstlerischen Kooperationen in Europa und Nordamerika mit. Zu ihrem Opernrepertoire zählen unter anderem die Rollen der Solveig in Peer Gynt, Tamara in Rimsky-Korsakows 1001 Nachtgeschichten sowie die Partien der Gräfin und Donna Anna beim Summer Opera Lyric Theatre in Toronto.
Sie arbeitete mit renommierten Ensembles und Institutionen zusammen, darunter Opera in Concert: VOICEBOX, das Toronto Operetta Theatre, der Istanbul Philharmonic Choir, der Borusan Philharmonic Choir, der Nazım Hikmet Choir, der Toronto Mozart Project Choir sowie das Konzertprojekt Lord of the Rings des Cinema Symphony Orchestra.
Als Solistin konzertierte sie mit bedeutenden Orchestern wie dem Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra, dem Bilkent Symphony Orchestra, der Tekfen Philharmonic und dem Anatolian Symphony Orchestra. Dabei stand sie gemeinsam mit international renommierten Künstlerpersönlichkeiten wie Fazıl Say, Andrea Bocelli und Lisa Gerrard auf der Bühne.
Neben ihrer operatischen und sinfonischen Tätigkeit widmet sich Dijle Yükselir weiterhin der zeitgenössischen Interpretation türkischer Volksmusik und verbindet dabei traditionelle Klangwelten mit modernen künstlerischen Ausdrucksformen. She began studying piano at the age of seven before receiving vocal training from tenor Mustafa Yurdakul at the Ankara Art Academy. Dijle later graduated from the Opera Performance program at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University State Conservatory in Istanbul under the guidance of renowned soprano Sema Cal Günsoy. Expanding her artistic practice beyond the classical stage, she also completed studies in Sound Design and Post Production at George Brown College in Toronto.
Throughout her international career, Dijle Yükselir has appeared in numerous opera productions, symphonic concerts, and interdisciplinary artistic collaborations across Europe and North America. Her operatic repertoire includes roles such as Solveig in Peer Gynt, Tamara in Rimsky-Korsakov’s 1001 Night Tales, as well as Countess and Donna Anna with the Summer Opera Lyric Theatre in Toronto.
