As a bağlama virtuoso, singer, and music educator, Vural Güler combines traditional Anatolian music with contemporary soundscapes. Born in Ankara, he developed a distinctive artistic style shaped by folkloric depth, virtuosic performance, and modern interpretation.
Today, Vural Güler lives in Hesse and has been captivating audiences for many years through concerts, festivals, and intercultural music projects across Europe and Turkey. His musical journey has brought him to renowned venues including the Alte Oper Frankfurt, the International Theatre Frankfurt, the Hanau Cultural Summer Festival, and numerous international cultural and music festivals. As the founder of the Harmony Music School in Frankfurt, he dedicated many years to music education and intercultural exchange.
Together with his ensembles “Grup Otantik” and the “Anatolian Quartet,” Vural Güler reinterprets traditional Anatolian folk music in a contemporary and emotional way. In his released albums Üryan (“Unveiled / Free from worldly possessions”) and Biz Kimseye Kin Tutmayız (“We Hold No Grudge Against Anyone”), he combines traditional Anatolian melodies with contemporary arrangements, virtuosic instrumentation, and his warm, resonant voice. His music creates a unique atmosphere between tradition, emotion, and world music, connecting people from different cultures through the universal language of music.
